Creating a sense of unity within the company by working toward a single goal

Career: After graduating from high school, played professional soccer for 19 years, retired in 2021, and joined Sugitec in 2022. Currently engaged in sales, site management, and survey work as a member of the sales department.
－How did you learn about the SDGs and your impressions and impressions after learning about the SDGs?
I first learned about the SDGs when they were featured on the TV news. At first I didn’t know how to read about them and wasn’t very interested in them, but as I started working for a general company, I began to see and hear about them more and more often, and my interest gradually grew!
－What do you think are the benefits of companies working on the SDGs?
When I was a professional soccer player, I learned firsthand how challenging it can be to keep going. But the good news is that the SDGs are sustainable development goals that are easy to work towards and to keep going. I truly believe that the SDGs will help create a sense of unity within the company as we work towards a single goal.
－What are your current challenges in addressing the SDGs?
I think there are still many people who have heard of the program but are eager to learn more! I believe that by offering more activities and maintaining continuity, we can gain more recognition in the future.
