-How did you learn about the SDGs and your impressions and impressions after learning about the SDGs?

We started hearing about it a few years ago when social networking started to become a part of our daily lives. I think that the global trend toward sustainable global environmental protection is very much in line with our corporate philosophy, as our industry has grown from a time when countries grew by repeatedly scraping and rebuilding. I think that connecting the buildings here in Japan and in Kyoto, where there are many World Heritage sites, to the future in their original state is a great way to show what the SDGs are all about. It’s also a wonderful initiative that will lead to new growth for the company, and it’s something that people at the company can get involved with.

-What do you think are the benefits of companies working on the SDGs?

I think that if we start small with initiatives where our company already has some expertise, we’ll be able to make a big impact. Plus, we’ll get to see what other companies are up to and we think that some of the ideas we thought were out of reach will become doable thanks to these connections, which will help local businesses get back on their feet.

-What are your current challenges in addressing the SDGs?

We know it can be tough to tackle all 17 goals in the same way. That’s why we think it’s important to start with a positive mindset and work towards each goal one at a time. This will help you achieve your bigger goal.
